I’ve booked with Costco many times and never had a problem. Never had any trouble getting someone on the phone or getting something sorted out. I think it’s very likely that right now they are inundated with calls and don’t have the staff to handle it. That exact thing can happen with any agent.

We book through Costco all the time. 2 years ago we were in Antiqua when hurricane Tammy hit. Costco agent phoned us the day before the hurricane to give us info on what to prepare for and what they will do if our reg depart flight will be cancelled or delayed. And yes we ended up delayed by 2 days because of the hurricane. We phoned Costco travel rep right after the hurricane was over and they got us a new flight and transportation. Our rep kept us informed through it all.
