And even though I know there are more challenges ahead, I’m proud of myself. I battle in silence, I’m not someone who reaches out easily, but I show up for everyone I love without hesitation. I fight from within, I break and rebuild in private, I hold myself through the storms no one knows I’m walking through. Training has always been my peace, my grounding, my happy place. And this year, being unwell and not being able to find that refuge… that has hurt the most. It’s hard when the one place you go to feel strong is the place your body won’t let you go. But still — I didn’t give up. I kept showing up for myself in every way I could, even when it didn’t look perfect, even when it felt like pieces of me were falling apart. Resilience isn’t always loud, sometimes it’s quiet, steady, sacred. It’s choosing to rise when no one’s watching, it’s trusting that your power is still there even when you can’t feel it. And I’m doing that.
