it was actually more interesting with him around. the boring thing is that everywhere the villains are overpowered. And it was interesting that for once, good guys had something. But Gojo wasn't without his set of issues so I think getting rid of him is a lazy approach, he could have become a loose cannon as an inconvenience for villains and good guys all together if the story was treated well.
