I have just started looking after 5 years out of the workforce due to caretaking of elderly parents and troubled teenagers. I havent interviewed in 30 years! I have an online chat with one employer on Monday. Doing my research on the company and how to interview. They originally rejected my application but I followed up by calling the company to find the recruiter to ask for a reconsideration…which worked! Practicing the interview with my husband this weekend!

Thank you for all this great advice. My company SAP Concur did lay offs as well. It’s tough right now. I do want to know your advice on I did internal interview, they did not choose me even tho I am qualified, do I ask for feedback or just let it be? Thanks in advance
