I think you you may have ran emotionally before you learn to walk in the relationship. This is understandable because you saw someone who checked a lot of boxes which anybody who’s been on the dating scene knows what a unicorn that is. Better part of wisdom might’ve just been to take a deep breath and go with the flow and see where it took you without over intellectualizing

I feel you .. 52 here, single mom, and it is so so hard at this age- especially when you feel and look younger. We are in a weird place. I’ve been dating younger.. not always great, but I’ve had better experiences honestly than with a lot of men our age. Thanks for sharing 🩷
