acrylics dry too fast, oils dry too slow, gouache is too bipolar, watercolor is too leaky, oil pastels are too fat, colour pencils are too thin, pencils are too bland, pens are too smudgy. the solution is to drink paint and shit the masterpiece out.

Kinda funny hearing oil vs acrylic talk 😅 I’ve used both, and they have negatives and positives. For me oils are the way to go, you can achieve similar results with both, but you’ll never get that luminance from acrylics! If your worried about drying time with oils, use liquin, your painting will be touch dry the next day (if painted thinly)
