I was with a cisgender friend and someone called security on her because she had short hair and didn't dress stereotypically feminine. In reality, I'm the one who is transgender and I am cis-passing. Having to argue for a cis person while knowing that this was targeted at someone like you is... surreal and devastating. Like, I'm SO sorry that women like your wife are treated so badly because of the hatred others have for women like me. :/

My gf uses the men’s or “family” bathroom because she gets mistaken for a man everyday. I’m sorry she goes through this. It’s the worst feeling. I am the most protective over her.
