Velvet wig bands are an absolute game changer, especially if you cover your hair for any reason (Alopecia, Cancer, Religious ---including Pagan, Christian, Observant Jewish, Hijab). My 17yo uses them to keep her cosplay wigs secure at cons.

these are also really helpful for holding various veils & headscarves in place! I use them for my tichels but they seem like they'd work well for cosplay too!

I can’t even wear wigs. They make my head look taller at the top and bulky no matter what I do no matter how flat my hair is underneath no matter if I put braids in first😭
