lemme say a theory here this man, was stuck în this loop for a reasson, to help him decide to tell his girlfriend yes or no to the abort the kid question. The kid we see is actually his child, even tough he dosen't know it, and at the end of the movie when he goes down the stairs, he actually goes to the hospital the not abort the child.
