Not only is this job physically demanding, it is mentally just as tough. I’ll never understand why anyone working in healthcare from environmental/dietary staff to nursing/CNAs is paid what we’re paid, My friends working an office job( no disrespect they are tough in their own ways) is making more than us. We are taking care of people, and necessary and critical to the communities we serve.

oh gosh, showering someone and getting drenched is the WORST . also someone who has cdif and they cant control their bowels while your cleaning them up and your ALONE. I about lost all the marbles lol
