I have a question , if the car's timing belt snapped during daily driving Will the engine become damaged? And had to be rebuilt? Both Diesel & Petrol

🤔 Some engines may seize If this happens in a manual vehicle the drive wheels will lockup untill clutch is pressed..

Most cars now have timing chains and are interference engine so doing this would cost tou a new engine. Older cars with timing belts were generally non interference, most not all. But ya dont do this.
