@siancontreras0: @OwletBaby what is this??? I’m devastated and angry. The Owlet Smart Sock left burn marks on my baby’s foot after normal use. I bought this product because I trusted it would help me keep my baby safe instead, it caused pain and injury. No parent should ever have to experience this. The product is marketed as safe for infants, but clearly there’s a serious design flaw or overheating issue. I followed all the instructions carefully, and there’s simply no excuse for a baby monitor to cause burns. #owletsock #burns #whatthehell
Don’t ask for help if you’re just going to tell everyone they are wrong 😭

As a nurse, explanation is pulse ox sensors which is basically what the Owlet is needs to be moved frequently to avoid burns from the sensor.

it was either too tight or left on in one spot for too long. same thing happens with the pulse oximiters in the hospital at times. unfortunately some babies just have extremely sensitive skin 😕

how’d you manage to let them burn BOTH of the baby’s feet… if you’re using it properly ?

Genuinely, it can just happen. My daughter was on oxygen when she came home and even the medical grade pulse ox she had to wear would leave little red marks on her feet, even with switching feet

Those aren't burns. My fit it does the same. You left it on too long.

If anyone doesn’t want to use an owlet but wants something similar that I’ve never seen any recall on the EUFY sock is amazinggg and does the same thing I loved it and used it for my baby and I never got a false alarm and it even let me know when she had a fever in her sleep which can be dangerous! It’s also way cheaper than the owelt.

I read somewhere that if your using lotion on their feet before putting it on the light and lotion interact with each making the temperature increase and it burns them 🙃

It literally says not to leave it on one foot for more than 8 hours, why’d you put it on the other foot after it burned the hell out of one foot already 🙃
