If I have the Amex gold (I travel internationally almost half the year), the scotiabank passport visa infinite and a wise card, is it worth it to add a CIBC/TD aeroplan card to redeem Amex points for flights?

if u apply for the card thru finly and get approved, is the annual fee waived every year? or the rebate from finly only applies to the first year, but i will have to start paying from 2nd year onward?
