when people have those pull out taps in their pc specs I always rough in the hot and cold 300mm apart thag way the flexis aren't in the way of the weight.

If you rough in allowing for it, the weight won’t catch on anything! Or you can put a piece of 90mm pipe in and allow the hose and weight to run up and down inside that.
