Sorry, wonderful. He should just communicate his need for solitude. Transparency is key. I am not his puppet to be used whenever convenient for him. Because I have my own needs to be met, such behaviour is very draining and killing my creativity. Women crave safety/reliability.

Thanks for the explanation. I've experienced this and I must say, pulling back does not equal ignoring!! In my experience, I can agree with what you're saying because even though we may had talked MUCH LESS during that time, I wasn't ignored. I gave him his space to let him reset and recharge. As an introvert, I can relate and understand needing time away/alone to recharge and reset.

If someone pulls away from me, I’d let them. It’s a waste of time and energy trying to find out why or doing something about it. We are adults and we are choosing to be or not be with anyone. Leave and I’ll live.
