Когда уже в этой стране вместо поклонения несуществующим богам начнут поклоняться науке? Может тогда люди станут чуточку образованнее и осознаннее? Может тогда они начнут понимать корень проблем государства и самого народа? Может тогда это же самое, но уже укрепившееся позитивное самосознание поможет построить новые реалии для этой самой страны? comments such as "Islam is a shackle" or "tengriism is freedom" are typical superficial slogans, often born out of a desire to "return to one's roots" but without understanding the essence. people confuse spirituality with identity, and religion with politics. this phenomenon is not unique to Kazakhstan. almost all post-colonial people experience a wave of "returning to their roots" and rejecting what came later. in the Kazakh context, this simply manifests itself in the opposition between Islam and tengriism, although in reality they have coexisted peacefully in people's minds for centuries. tengrian traces are part of culture, not faith. Islam came to us with mercy, not with the sword. it gave us knowledge, writing, and the unity of the ummah. culture is memory, but faith is one: لا إله إلا الله.
