I have a yearling that just grown out of her 6’3 rug 😫 she also all legs. So hoping we just stay all legs and I don’t end up needing a stepladder to get on her. 😂😂 unfortunately her dam is super deep so I feel we will not be all

My ulcery 16.3 TB has a scoop of Allen and page soothe and gain with a scoop of spillers conditioning fibre and he looks *chefs kiss* at the moment! And is the most relaxed and least spicy he’s ever been! He’s also a stress head so I feel your pain 😩

We’ve moved to Redmills and it’s been great for my lean bean giant. Biggest change, added equinox gut sup. He’s a different boy 😳

My warmblood mare is fed on Allen and Paige muscle and focus and equinectar to try and help prevent ulcers and after trying so many things she has kept weight best on this mixed in with a small handful of chaff

Allen and page care and gain is also a good move. It’s a soaked feed to hydration, aimed at lami nags that are underweight so low in sugar and starch so no explosive ingredients. Or the muscle and focus which is the one i use. Chaff we are on honeychop light and healthy in the summer then top line and shine in the winter when the grass drops back.

If you don't get on with Spillers I highly recommend Red Mills. I switched my stressy stallion onto it and it worked wonders for him whilst piling weight on him. It's ulcer friendly too. All of mine are on it now.

I add a bit of valerian to young horses feeds when I need some extra calm - not comp legal but really useful.

I have an ulcer prone horse and one who although not had ulcers is a TB so can drop condition. We feed Allen and Page fibre feeds and Micronised linseed. Both great for condition and non heating. I use a couple of other supplements on top but the fibre and linseed make up the bulk of the feed.
