Hopefully this is a warning to people my age (30s/Millennials). Start. Preparing. Now. Save, invest, pay off debt. You don’t want to be in this position and not afford proper care, etc. You should have at MINIMUM 👏🏻 a Roth IRA (working towards fully funded each year, $583 a month/$7000 year), HYSA (emergency savings), and an HSA (health savings account). Pay off all debt ASAP, minus a mortgage.
