you could just cut plumb cut on the fascia on ground when cutting rafters that is assuming you bearing wall is straight

Never understood cutting tails after rafters or trusses are set. Rafters should have a pattern and be cut the same, and if trusses need to be cut, do it on the ground. If your wall is straight and you set everything properly, the fascia will also be straight.
