I turned to plants when my mom was dying . Recently my step father was killed and I turned back to plants . I've been STRUGGLING with depression and my plants have been therapy . This plant community gotten me through some really dark days . Keep being a blessing . You never know who is watching or why ❤

I’m a product of poverty. I remember the Monopoly money books and my grandma and mom pinching every penny and using every coupon and the many church pantry runs. Now I’m in fear for the mental health of my sisters and the state of their homes. I now, as a big brother have to figure out what I gotta do to help them survive. My heart is broken because my sisters heads are low and they are tired and I’m already stretched. But as a family we will get through. They (gov) will not win. My nephews and nieces won’t even realize the struggle because us adults won’t let them see it. We love you Britt!!!

You had me in tears. I felt everything you said. I suffer with anxiety and often I have moments where I think about how good I have it and think about other people who are struggling but my brain doesn't want to stop. I care so much it makes myself sick.
