You should watch my videos on how I derive these things in Minkowski Spacetime, to get the equations verified by experiment. It’s only difficult, because the method Lorentz used didn’t accomplish that. Einstein’s method did, but that was because he used a geometric linear light clock that only considers the plus and minus x-direction at the same time. I didn’t include frequency from that making it more complicated. That seems like the only way to get the solution for frequency in spacetime, using a different framework.
