hey pretty💓 try taking smaller pieces at starting your hair line, where your starting the braid is about half a inch back. it’s easier when you use a rat tail comb to section out your pieces and make the braid look neater. i also find it easier when i don’t have nails to braid bc then you can really get a tighter braid and hold it closer to your scalp.

Try underhanded. Since you already know how to single braid. Simply grab extra hair to each strand. Your hands should stay close to your scalp.
