this video is misleading. Einstein said nothing can escape a black hole because he used classical physics. Hawking added quantum mechanics which Einstein rejected. So Einstein was only right in classical physics term. Quantum fluctuations near the event horizon create Hawking radiation. So Hawking expanded the Einsteins theory into the quantum world, because classical physics fail to explain physics in extreme environment of the universe.

My theory of space is that it’s constantly expanding outwards. And eventually it gets so big it collapses on itself and then the Big Bang happens. And it all continues again
