If it's packaged, I can't see how it could cause a reaction. If it did, they could have one just going into a grocery store.

I have asthma triggered by strong scents and I have asked hosts not to clean with super fragments cleaners. I also bring a travel air purifier with me.

My son had a nut allergy. If I knew there was going to be snacks there, I would ask them not to be served while we were there.

I would put in the listing that you leave prepackaged snacks and if there are any allergies to nut products to put in the comments section if comfortable so you can put alternative. People would love that including dietary restrictions,or say vegan or vegetarian folks too ❤️

a sealed item in a bowl with other sealed items can't contaminate each other. the closed trail mix will not contaminate the other items or cause an allergic reaction.

Typically if the airbnb hosts provides snacks I would mention it just as a precaution but if they don’t provide snacks I don’t mention it. But also my family members know what foods has their allergen so they don’t eat it or touch. I usually keep an allergen foods in my personal bag

When you ask if they are ok with alcohol, you could also ask if they had any food allergies maybe? That being said, I would think anyone with severe allergies would be bringing or buying their own food.

I’m allergic to peanut butter and always suggest to keep things individually packaged like yours!! but since I’m used to having my allergy anything that isn’t packaged no matter where I am I always ask if PB is in it (like cookies etc) 🤍

The 2 year old living his best life while mom chases him. I bet he slept well 😂❤ love all the little touches. If the item is it’s in own package it shouldn’t contaminate the contents. I saw someone who added peanut butter to a food pantry.
