i don't care about it all that much BUT HERES MT THEORY!! i think people are upset because in 2020 that the "weird kids" were getting bullied for dressing up like that. people did it and got like genuine hate for being fun and looking a little goofy. but all of a sudden it's like "the thing". just like how people used to get hate for watching hamilton and actually liking it but now it's like the new hot thing. The lorax thing was popular for a time. But now it's just overused and most people doing it now are only doing it to be "quirky". If they were actually making an attempt to be unique and express themselves then they wouldn't all be doing the Lorax specifically.
