@jennn.nyc: visited Huanglongxi Ancient Town in Chengdu and it was so so beautiful!! there were almost no tourists here though and overall it was really quiet and no foot traffic at all so it was sad to see all the businesses w. no customers 🥺 the taxi driver told my uncle that this used to be such a big tourist hotspot as well as a local favorite, but bc of the declining economy and no advertisement of this place anymore, no one really comes. there were so many little alleys with carnival like games (balloon popping, archery, etc) but no one to play 😭 overall a super beautiful place to visit but super empty as well📍 Huanglongxi Ancient Town 黄龙溪古镇 #huanglongxi #china #chengdu #黄龙溪古镇
