@noorbakesss: Recreated the Toffee Apple @Jellycat 🍎✨ So easy and turned out super cute! Recipe below 👇🏼 Ingredients: * 9 apples * 400g caster sugar * 80g golden syrup * 180mL water * ½ tbsp vinegar * 1 tsp good quality red food colouring * ¼ tsp cream of tartar * Bicarbonate of soda (for washing) Method: 1. Wash apples in warm water with a little bicarbonate of soda to remove any wax. Dry thoroughly and insert wooden sticks into each apple. 2. In a pan, add sugar, syrup, and water. Stir over low heat until the sugar dissolves. 3. Bring to the boil, add the vinegar, and continue boiling without stirring. 4. When the syrup reaches 130°C, add the food colouring and cream of tartar. 5. Continue boiling until it reaches 150°C (hard crack stage), then remove from the heat. 6. Working quickly, dip each apple into the toffee, turning to coat evenly. Place on baking paper to set. Enjoy! 💘 #baking #toffeeapple #halloween #jellycat #ad
