I feel that Miles Morales is really a generic copy of Spider-Man with his own cultural lense and different set of problems. Meanwhile Laura has a different past drastically with Logan and had a different journey. She’s a successor but also her own entire character, I don’t always agree with the idea that she became Wolverine, and her early issues have much higher quality writing in my opinion. But not saying Miles Morales is bad at all.

hot take: No one cared about the Avengers until the movies. The X-Men is Marvel's best team. If Marvel didn't sell the X-Men movie rights, the X-Men would be the biggest team.
