I've been welding for 25 years. The best thing to do If you burn your eyes, get you a potato, put it in the refrigerator get it good and cold, cut it in half. Get your ace bandage Take those potatoes. That's cut it in half. Put them over each eye, wrap it up and lay down. It will pull the swelling out. Cause you feel like you got sand under your eyes. you also can burn your eyes from the flash.Bouncing off your shirt coming under your hood as well.That's why I cut a piece of leather from some chaps drill holes in my hood and rivet it on the back.And in the front so I can tuck in my shirt
