Like none of the other kids have any urgency. in yhe first episode she grabbed that flashlight and broke out of that projection room and was ready to use it as a WEAPON. in the second episode she BIT THROUGH THAT UMBILICAL CORD to escape. She may not LIVE but she will go down FIGHTING.
