So this got the story mixed up, The war ended but there was a catch to the research that turned most of the troops. They would end up forever changing into their "Beast" form and lose all human thoughts/reasoning so the Head scientist Decided it would be better to kill them so she tried to but was backstabbed by a troop she trusted and he let them all go free to cause whatever havoc they wanted basically but some choose to live normally but couldn't stop the progression of their change. So our Mc is taking it into his own hands to kills his comrades one by one while hunting they guy that betrayed his lover(the main scientist)
