@markhasara: Ockheed Martin in cooperation with NASA just flew the X-58 on its maiden voyage at Edwards Air Force Base this week. The long sleek nose of the aircraft is designed to reduce or eliminate the sonic boom heard on the ground by aircraft traveling above Mach One.
