Your anchor point is way more important than the peep.

never used any of these methods, I always made sure I put the odd color arrow fletching level with the knock and when I pull back I anchor it in the corner of my mouth

I use #2 and a single pin sight. IMO multiple pins just take up space. I shot a multiple pin sight for 20yrs. When I switched up it gave me more confidence at longer distances.

second method. I also use an over sized peep for low light hunting situations.

A bad football injury gifted me w/ 6-8” groups at 100yds. Shoulder, elbow & wrist “locks” at full draw. As an anomaly, #3 is all I knew existed. Great video.

i don't use peep - I use the shadow of my string by aligning string with pin sight - I always anchor same place on corner of my lips - I believe anchor point & minimize torque & also minimize turning face R or L when you anchor is more important than anything else

I never even look at my peep. If its set correctly your eye naturally finds the center. I concentrate on the target and allow the pin to settle where I want to hit

when I bought a new bow, I put new sites on that had a level on it. Trying to use the level my shots were way off. I no longer use the level.

do you have to specifically sight in your how for the third method or can you pivot to this for more consistency once you’ve have your distances pinned?

If all you do is shoot round targets then 3 would work. But 2 is what I recommend.

When hunting in the dark/in the twilight, at least for me, shooting with a small rear sight ring doesn't work because the silhouette of the animal is not clearly visible.

I like the concept of the last one. I used to be very steady with my pins when I was in my twenties now that I am in my sixties my pins definitely float around and it drives me nuts.

Very interesting. I’m going to try 3rd one. I’ve only done 2nd one until now. 3rd makes perfect sense in my mind 🤔
