when I worked childcare I strongly advocated for magna tiles to be available to all ages. some childcares only allow preschool ages due to the age range that is stated on the box. ive seen young toddlers make 3d shapes while the preschoolers who are new to magna tiles are only able to stack them on top of eachother.

These toys enhances a lot of skills in children - concentration, spatial relationships, logical thinking, problem solving, patterning, etc.

We had Legos and other building blocks.
And when it comes to video games we had Tetris and puzzle games. I can clearly see the difference in thinking between adults who played puzzle games as a child and who didn't.

Us childminders love these magnetic tiles!!They teach fine motor skills, colours, shapes and help develop creativity and imagination. All the wee ones I’ve looked after have played with them for hours
