I ask, say yeah yeah yeah, have a rough direction, then ask the next person I see, then repeat the process until I get to where I need to be.

I work in a supermarket and I always show where the item they’re looking for is on the store map because i know the struggle 😂

If the directions contain more than 2 turns I’m lost forever. If they give 3 directions or more I have an internal panic attack. But I pretend to understand.

Can’t remember directions but REALLY good at giving them. 🙄 This is my life consistently.

More than anyone else in the world- I feel like Rox is the only person who can put into words the chaos of this constant struggle. I still feel shame and stupid and overwhelmed and all the rest but at least I don’t feel like I’m just plain crazy. Thank you Rox and Rich

Oh verbal directions are a no-no for me. I cannot take any information that is given to me verbally at all. if I'm given directions I have to have a map in front of me and to visually see it on the map and then I can sometimes remember it. without the map there's absolutely no point in me asking

Haha took my daughter for an X-ray yesterday. We went to the reception desegnated on the letter… she got called they told us where to go we both smiled and started wandering… 10 minutes later asked someone else and they were like oh we had lost a patient that must be you… follow me😂

I made a 4 hour trip take 12 hours. I only do directions by restaurant locations now 😐 like "it's past the DQ, turn at Jack-in-the-Box. if you see McD, you went too far."
