we just looked at a brand new house. we didnt buy it because they had drywall screws in the cabinets. if they cut corners there....where else did they cut corners that I cannot see!

In general, using cabinet screws at an angle is an acceptable and effective solution when the situation calls for it, provided proper technique is used to ensure a strong connection. As long as the screw head is not overdriven into the wood, as it has to effectively be used in a stud, which is not directly behind the cabinet face at a right angle. I disagree respectfully
