Waiting on biopsy results now. Radiologist said it was suspicious for IDC. Am glad he was honest with me so I won't be blindsided. Still hopeful it's benign.

Can you tell me how often you would say you see the only symptom of breast pain being cancer. Waiting for my diagnostic mammogram and US and freaking out.

Yes!! I hated the way they downplayed everything. All the Drs and nurses made it seem like the calcium was no big deal. Then go to the breast cancer surgeon and get the bomb on how bad it really was. I felt blindsided and that stills annoys me.

8 yr survivor, i get yearly screening mri on breast (lumpectomy) latest was birads 2, benign but said "within constraints of movement artifacts" i moved too much i guess, but still good enough to read? when is it too blurry??

Yep. When was first getting diagnosed they refused to say the c-word. They’d say “disease” or “malignancy” but made me nuts. I knew what it was, let’s just be real.

So I happened to notice this lump a few weeks ago due to it being sore in that area and I only feel it while standing I can’t really feel it when I’m laying down so is that something I should get checked for? Lump is still there and I haven’t noticed it change in size

Thank you- as someone who was DX OCT 20th. I could tell during my initial sono on Oct 10th something was wrong but the radiologist and tech both said oh no no - nothing to worry about. But I knew. I wish they would have been upfront.
