You know who else? All of the companies that pay their employees minimum wage. SNAP is in essence a subsidy for companies to avoid paying a living wage.

From my experience as a foster care specialist, cps worker, foster parent….. that is rarely true. There is a reason the state pays foster parents a subsidy for raising and caring for kids in the system. Very rarely in my experience have foster parents qualified for assistance

I’m a foster parent and we don’t get snap we get cash and that has not stopped. I still get cash for both of my foster kids.

I’m a foster care social worker. Foster parents, at least in the state I work in, do not qualify for snap. The monthly payments they get for foster care cover food. They do recieve WIC though.
