A problem with a retirement tour is that it gets overhyped. Expectations are set sky high. And as we’ve seen with Cena’s, it hasn’t met those expectations and at this point, that ship has sailed.

love and miss Batista but I don't think a retirement tour would work for him or at least not the same as Cena maybe it would I'm not saying it would be a bad idea but I just don't think it would fit him

Because Batista isn't as involved in the business as John Cena is. And it's *like* John Cena to do this tour, which makes it right for Cena to do it. Unlike Btista who's not as involved, not as transparent and spontaneous with the community as John, therefore he simply wouldn't do a retirement tour. They just vary and that calls for different ways of approaching retirement.
