Willie was a terrible father change my mind.The new Duck Dynasty doesn’t line up with the story Phil built. From the start, his message was simple — get out in the woods, slow down, and see God’s hand in everything around you. That was the heart of the show and the family. Now it feels more like a brand than a belief. Willie was never known for taking time to teach his kids the way Phil did with his. The next generation can’t even shoot, hunt, or fish — the very things that defined what made the family stand out in the first place. It ends up reflecting poorly on Phil, as if he didn’t pass on the values he lived by. The truth is, he did — but the ones running the show now seem more interested in keeping up appearances than keeping up traditions. And with Korie steering so much of it for business reasons, it’s lost that humble, God-centered heart that made people fall in love with the Robertsons to begin with.
