@lovecorio: READ BELOW I’m approaching 100 trips with multiple different vehicles and it has never changed. I even had someone, who I knew, not return a vehicle until I threatened to call the police. I have no problem with any damages or late returns because this is what I signed up for when I started this business. The only times that have been unreasonable have been from “my people”. My profile has my picture, some of these people even meet me when they get the car so they should know it’s owned by “their people”. It’s just disrespect. We can’t ask for people to treat us with more respect when our reputation is to be disrespectful. I now look at the picture of someone who is about to book a vehicle and if they’re black I wonder if I should cancel. The business itself is profitable and overall I have little issues but why are most of my issues based around my own people. I see why they want us to get out of the high end restaurants and stores. I get it now but I’ll be considered an Uncle Tom or racist if I give in to the judgement that my experiences are pushing me to have. More than anything I hope this video is looked at with an open mind. Change your character, be more professional, be more literate, take pride in your reputation, and respect others.
