Did you enter with US passports? If that’s your only passport you carry you should take a “do not travel” designation seriously bc currently the US does have any embassy in Yemen. They will not be able to assist you if something happens

to clear things up: the US warns against ALL of Yemen including Socotra island. However, we know it’s not the same and that’s what we are showing in the video. that Socotra is safe and shouldn’t be classified with the do not travel warning as all of yemen. #2 we worked with a small local company that’s helping the island during these times. they asked us to please promote socotra & let people know it’s safe so they will come. it’s a beautiful adventurous place that should be visited & just want to show the world

I know this might be a complicated question, but did the tour company you used get permission to enter from the UAE or from Yemen? This looks beautiful but I'm just curious which tour companies might be financially supporting UAE backed militias via tourism money vs which aren't.
