ok but hear me out. every few episode/comic she climbs cathedrals and shit to vent about her boy problems to other gargoyles. whenever she travels she will find gargoyles if they are in the city. make it seem like a full conversation but we only hear her part. it will never be addressed if she can actually hear them or not but she will "know" their names and respond like they are talking. she might be crazy, could be trauma from existing as a hunk of rock for several hundred years. who knows. but the gargoyles are wise and they will help her. different gargoyles know different things, maybe they help her solve crime.
