How is it legal to allow a child to go hungry? This school district needs a huge wake up call. Any attorneys able to help change this. So all kids can eat.

My Mom used to cover some kids. They were pre k -1st. It’s not fair to make a kid that young eat a PBJ when their parents can’t afford or don’t ensure they have money in the account. It takes more money and time to make a different meal anyway. They end up throwing so much out anyway. I remember if the boss was out when I was in Junior High they would walk around and hand out left overs.
