I think y’all are the only ones. I’m indigenous and never heard of anyone using dish soap to bath in. We use bar soap or lye soap. Bathing with herbs or plants like cedar/juniper leaves or pine needles, yes. That’s from indigenous American culture. But Dawn soap wasn’t invented until 1973, so I don’t know what they would’ve used.

I don’t use it to actually bathe but I do use it to wash my hair and add a little bit of shampoo it’s amazing and give you a nice shine if you got a quick weave or some glue in your hair it gets it right out
