@compass.acres: ✨Fall garden cleanup at Compass Acres!✨ I know I always say I don’t do too much in the gardens, but there are a few spots I like to tidy up completely — mostly because I love how the snow falls flat and clean in those areas. 🌨️ It’s just more peaceful that way. I pulled the marigold seed heads I wanted to save 🌼, trimmed down the leafy perennials, and pulled the annuals — keeping things simple and intentional. At the end of the day, it’s all about doing what feels right for you and what makes you happy in your space. 🌿 🌾 2 quick fall cleanup tips: 1️⃣ Save seeds from your favorite blooms before clearing annuals. 2️⃣ Cut perennials to the ground only if they don’t offer winter structure or food for wildlife.
