The T-72B3 is a third-generation Russian main battle tank modernization package. Timeline & Production - Developed & Made: The modernization program by Uralvagonzavod began around 2010 to convert older, reserve Soviet-era T-72B tanks into highly upgraded variants. - Entered Service: The tank officially entered service with the Russian military in 2012.
