@historytheworl: Part 1: Drunk Woman Drives Recklessly Past Police and Resists Arrest: On June 10, 2024, Bloomington Police Officers were finishing with a traffic stop when the 22-year-old driver of a Ford SUV went speeding past them and passed cars in the wrong lane of traffic. Officer Dean and Gaffney were able to catch up to the vehicle and initiate a traffic stop. The female driver claimed she was coming from the gym and initially denied consuming alcohol. She was asked to step out of the vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests. At the conclusion of the tests, she was placed under arrest, but she resisted and was almost tased. She submitted to a breath alcohol test and the result was 0.254% BAC. Open containers of alcohol were found in her vehicle.
