let's be real ....var has a few drawbacks..one being the time and momentum killed..but let's not forget it also increases accuracy of decisions and cheating...besides time is added for all this and it only really kills the momentum of the team who was fouled

when play is stopped, VAR checks the entire play, not just the foul. that is why it takes so long. it might have been very close to offside, changing possession
