My mom developed a cough and after they dubbed it allergies and than pneumonia it was stage 4 lung cancer and she died a month later. Wasn’t even a smoker

I totally agree. I coughed for 9 weeks then went to the hospital. I was coughing every 5 to 10 mins all day everyday. I have metastatic lung cancer.

I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer a year ago and that is the exact symptoms I went to the hospital with. I thought I had pneumonia or something and I was 50 too.

they have just discovered a 6cm lump I need mri now, I presented to Ed with what I thought was knots in my shoulder blade from lifting my grandson

Me too a month before my 50tg. Stage III, symptoms were a dry cough, a tiny wheeze after a big inhale. Was misdiagnosed 3 times, then I demanded an x-ray. December 14, 2020 at 4:45 pm I found out.

I was finally diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer after numerous trips to urgent care and my Dr.. they told me it was just bronchitis.. gave me antibiotics, steroids and an inhaler.. finally it got so bad one day at work that by the time I got home I was so exhausted and couldn’t hardly breathe.. my husband took me to the ER.. they thought it was maybe my heart.. but tested me and it wasn’t that… then finally after a CT scan they saw a large mass between my lungs.., was inoperable… after a long series of radiation every day and chemo, then maintenance chemo for 1/2 a year.. my tumor is gone!!! My CT scans have been clear!! Have faith!!!

Same story here. I have stage 4 lung cancer Misdiagnosed as bronchitis after xray back in December of 24. Asked for ct and they discovered a blood clot and still refused to diagnose as cancer. Fell ill and they chased after the blood clot and finally in February decided to do a pet which showed the tumor that caused the clot. Still standing strong with Keytruda and chemotherapy!

I was diagnosed march 2025 - Stage 2B lung cancer and I had already been diagnosed with severe emphysema copd. So the shortness of breath was normal for me at times. I had nodules they had been watching since late 2017. Turned early 2025!
